In late May 2024, the students of Alexandria Szakacs' class at Miami University enjoyed a visit by Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society (MVDS) dahlia experts, Harriet Chandler, Jim Chuey, and Randy/Kathy Foith.
The experts engaged the class with a slide presentation on dahlia cultivation and classification. They enthusiastically fielded questions from curious students, sharing their wealth of knowledge and practical insights.
Feedback from the students indicates that the presentation was a resounding success and perhaps sparked a newfound interest in the fascinating world of dahlias?
